Maricopa Elementary School, taking the tradition into the future!
Welcome to Maricopa Elementary. Although we are the newest campus in the Maricopa Unified School District we are the oldest elementary school. Retaining the name of the original elementary campus was important for this community, where a multitude of Maricopa residents began their education. We want to continue being a part of Maricopa residents' educational foundation, creating life-long learners, and bright futures for each and every child.
With the help of teachers and the assistant principal we have put together an outstanding instructional team. These talented teachers and staff are eager to begin our first year on the new campus. The teaching staff is comprised of 9 returning MUSD teachers and 21 teachers hired from outside the district. Hiring for this campus has been an amazing endeavor. Each has an incredible story to share in how their journey led them to our growing and expanding district. Over 90% of this staff lives in our community and their tremendous desire to be a part of this community is evident in their dedication to making our school a success.
